One lucky woman recently opened her door to find an unmarked envelope containing a letter with $1000 and no return address. Also included was a letter that made her heart, and mine, cry in sheer joy and gratitude. It’s something that she’ll never forget.
The letter told the story of a recently deceased family member who loved to give random acts of kindness. After reading the letter, the woman knew that the gift was fate. Her mother needed the kindness more than anyone could know, as she continues to fight ovarian cancer after three years and needed money to pay for mounting medical bills.

It’s simple things like this that can make the world a better place. The famous Gandhi quote “Be the change you want to see in the world,” is the perfect example of how acts of kindness like this can be powerful. After all, this stranger had no idea the ripple effect his act would have on the lives of this woman and her mother.
That’s why we hope that wherever this superhero stranger is in the world today, he is paid back in karma points… ten-fold.
