In space, no one can hear you scream. If you want to scream, that’s okay, because its super scary up there. Astronaut Alexander Gerst waited until his colleagues at the International Space Station fell asleep before taking these photos of the station’s research center. If there is one thing to take away from them, it’s that the place looks like a horror den straight out of Ridley Scott’s Alien series. Yikes!

I’d say you’ll never catch me hanging around here, but at this point, any chances of me being on the space station are very slim, to say the least. Still, this must be incredibly creepy for the people living there…in space.
