When it came time for Barrowford Primary School in Lancashire, England to send out their students’ end-of-year test results, the educators took it as an opportunity to remind the children that grades aren’t everything. Head teacher Rachel Tomlinson found the words of encouragement on a blog and felt moved to pass the uplifting message along to her pupils. Teachers everywhere should take note… “There are many ways of being smart.”

They explained on Twitter that, for them, it was simply about reminding their students of how amazing they are regardless of any test score.
