This Is One Wave You’ll Never Want To Come Crashing Down On You. Ouch.

Surfers are a daring bunch, but I don’t think any of them would be willing to go anywhere near this wave. If the 46’ height doesn’t scare them away, surely the fact that it’s made entirely of rock will–can’t be scratching up your board!

Wave Rock is a natural formation in Western Australia that, as you may have already guessed, is a rock that looks like a wave. It spans about 360’ and is part of a larger hill known as Hyden Rock. It’s really quite the site. Check it out!

Behold: Wave Rock

These kids appear to have left their bathing suits at home.

They must have done their research.

Wave Rock attracts more than 140,000 tourists each year.

You can see why.

Talk about a natural beauty.

Judge, if you must, but maybe YOU should try standing next to a giant wave without going for the obvious “surfing” pose. It can’t be easy.

Wow.

Surfing may be out of the question, but that doesn’t mean Wave Rock has nothing to offer thrill seekers. Watch these guys navigate, to say the least, the natural rock formation on their BMX bikes.
