Thailand’s White Temple will take your breath away. The structure, which is a contemporary Buddhist temple, was built in 1997 by the artist Chalermchai Kositpipat. Its extreme beauty (some might say divine) makes it a prime tourist attraction.
Sadly the temple was heavily damaged by an earthquake in May 2014, and it is now structurally unsound. However Kositpipat has been working non-stop to restore the temple. He has said he will devote the rest of his life to fixing it.
With beauty like this, it’s not hard to understand such devotion. Just take a look.
WOW.
It’s just intensely beautiful.
… that’s not creepy or anything.
This is sending a rather strong message.

I cannot believe the intricate detail on this temple. If you’re heading to Thailand, make sure to put this one on your list of places to go.
