You know how people paint a room white to make it seem bigger? Well, Swiss artist Felice Varini does something similar. Instead of making rooms look bigger, he makes them mind-blowing spaces. These rooms will make you feel like Alice on her way down the rabbit hole. To create this effect, Varini uses anamorphic illusions or designs that have unequal magnifications along two perpendicular axes. In other words, cool but totally unrelated to that series of young adult books where kids turn into animals. Check them out!
