A homeless veteran called Alan was hanging around a street in Las Vegas, with signs that he hoped would inspire people to smile.
Street magician and YouTuber Rob Anderson heard about the homeless man and decided to go pay him a visit and do a little trick with him. When Rob found Alan, he approached him…then ripped his sign apart. But being a street magician, all was not what seemed of course. At the end of the trick, Rob revealed that the sign wasn’t actually destroyed. Just watch.

For those who are concerned, Rob says he stuck around and picked all the money up after the camera stopped rolling. He also set up a GoFundMe charity page for Alan, the homeless man.
