There’s a new, huge craze sweeping the United States… and it’s tiny houses. Yes your read that right, tiny houses. The movement is made up of people who are sick of the ginormous houses that have come to dominate much of America. It’s not just one demographic group either. The tiny house movement, as it’s known, is made up of equal parts millennials, newly weds, and even retirees.
I know what you’re thinking, “Who on Earth would willingly live in a tiny shack? That sounds horrible.” That’s where you’re wrong. These tiny houses are probably more luxurious than your normal sized home despite having less than half the space. Intrigued? Just check out these pictures.
The company at the front of the tiny house movement is the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company. Here is one of their pre-made units.
A look inside the house.

Of course the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company is not the only game in town. There are other companies that build micro houses. Sometime people will just design and build their own. Here are a few more examples of tiny houses if you’re not already convinced how awesome they are.

Just because the houses are tiny, it doesn’t mean they aren’t fancy. These small houses are efficient and save energy. The footprint they leave is insanely small, compared to your traditional house in America. Not only that, but many tiny houses can be built on top of trailers, so that you can take them with you wherever you go.
Can I have one?
