We’ve seen it happen before: You’re young, sitting at home on the couch, and aimlessly flipping through the channels. All of a sudden, Dad hops up. He yells, “Oh no! I gotta run to Walgreens!”
He forgot to get a card for his anniversary.
He comes back in twenty minutes later, just in time to exchange cards with your mom. Normally, this would be no biggie. After all, mom will never know. But what if, in his panic, Dad proved that Mom has him a little too well trained? What if Mom and Dad really operate with one mind? What would you expect to find?
You’d find the EXACT. SAME. CARD.
“After 60 years of marriage, my grandparents’ minds have melded.”
They’re just too in love.
“It was my parents’ 25th anniversary today. They bought each other the same card by accident on different days from different stores.”
Or just too adorable….
“My parents both secretly got each other a card to celebrate 23 years of marriage. Just like how they chose each other from the endless sea of people…”
We can’t decide.
“Today is my parents’ 28th wedding anniversary. They got each other the exact same card. This is the 2nd time this has happened.”
“My parents got each other the same Valentine’s day card by accident.”
“My parents just celebrated 34 years of marriage. Judging by the cards they got for each other, they may have also become the same person.”
“My parents’ 30-year wedding anniversary was yesterday. These were the cards they got each other.”

They know each other too well! If this doesn’t make you believe in true love, I don’t know what else will.
