People Think Americans Don’t Know Geography, Apparently Europeans Don’t Either

One common complaint waged against Americans is that they don’t know the geography of Europe. Most Americans even have a hard time locating multiple European countries on a map at one time. While this may be true, someone decided to give Europeans a test of their own. Many of the countries in Europe are roughly the size of some US states, so this test was given to Europeans to see if they could label our states…

Poor Midwest.

Lots of Indianas, eh?

You don’t need to label Canada, they aren’t in our country.

They apparently know where NYC is but not where the state of New York is.

Really? Nothing is there? At all?

A lot of people know those ones.

Yes, New York, North Carolina.

You can’t just cross out a bunch of states.

Wow, this is so detailed, yet so wrong.

How could I forget those 3 states named, “Alligators?”

Ah, the great state of Seattle (maybe).

This person at least had some fun with it.

Just cross over some states like they don’t exist.

At least they were honest.

A lot of people think New York City is not in New York.

Apparently, everyone is comfortable with identifying California, Texas and Florida…but the rest of the states? not so much. You’re not too savvy yourself, Europeans. (Although, to be fair, there are 50 states and…28 countries in the European Union? Maybe? …eh, I need a map.)
