Richard Sweeney is a U.K artist who specializes in creating beautiful, ornate sculptures, ranging from realistic figures to abstract elements. Of course, every artist needs a medium, and while many work on paper, Sweeney works with paper. His sculpting method plays on the fragile, yet malleable nature of paper.

Some of Sweeney’s work is currently being shown at the D?Amour Museum of Fine Arts in Massachusetts. The touring exhibition, called “Above The Fold,” features his work along with other artists who use paper in unique ways. Check out some of his incredible work below!
