You never know what dangers you’ll run into when sledding through the back country of Canada. You’ll come across bad weather, wolves, and polar bears. It’s the job of sled dogs to protect their masters at all costs against dangers of the animal variety.
That’s why these sled dogs jumped to Albert Panizza’s rescue when a polar bear wandered into camp outside of Manitoba, Canada.
This polar bear grew interested in meeting a sled dog after meandering into camp.
The dog was having nothing of it, instantly jumping into protection mode.
The polar bear, to his credit, never wanted to pick a fight. He was just very interested in this weird looking animal.
After seeing the scary barks and teeth of the dog, he grew less interested…
…And a little fearful.
This made him retreat instantly.
Our “attacker” just wished to have made a friend. This was not the kind of wolf he’s used to.
“Hmm…who’s that stranger? Let’s go meet him!”

What do you think? Would your little pup put up such a stink? I’m not sure it was necessary after watching the awesome video, but we’d still be happy to have that dog on our side in a fight.
