Not much grows in the mountain areas of Utah. It is a desert, after all. Finding any life seems out of the question here, with little water and mostly cool, dry temperatures.
But every few years, when the conditions are just right, Mother Nature proves us wrong once again by changing this region into something beautiful. It’s truly something to behold.
When it does happen, these otherwise arid lands of Utah’s badlands burst into color with carpets of Scorpionweed and Beeplant.
