While on safari at the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya, Africa, photographers Laurent Renaud and Dominique Haution noticed one of the lions acting more like a big ‘fraidy cat than the mighty king of the jungle that usually comes to mind.
The male lion was enjoying a relaxing afternoon in the grass with a lioness when some buffalo emerged, outnumbering the fierce felines. You can see the fear in his eyes as he makes a run for it.
“Honey, you should probably run.”
