Toothpaste: Not Just For Brushing Your Pearly Whites Anymore

Apparently, toothpaste isn’t just for brushing your teeth.

It turns out that toothpaste, that wonderful product that makes your teeth clean and your breath fresh, actually has a lot of uses outside of your mouth. Its chemical components and fresh scent can help us out with a bunch of different things. It’s weird to think of toothpaste being used for anything besides cleaning teeth, but some of these other uses are pretty cool.

1.) Bug bites

Rub some toothpaste on the bite to help relieve itchiness.

2.) Blemishes and zits

Put toothpaste on your blemishes overnight to help dry them out.

3.) Cleaning sneakers

Use a toothbrush and toothpaste to make your dirty sneakers look like new.

4.) Fingernail cleaning

Give yourself a little buff and shine using some toothpaste

5.) Cleaning jewelry

Brush some on to give your jewelry a brand-new shine.

6.) Removing odors from your hands

Put some toothpaste on your hands before you rinse. It goes a long way in removing any food odors.

7.) Removing crayon from walls

Don’t freak out and think you’ll need a whole new coat of paint – just use some toothpaste and get rid of those wall scribbles.
