A Redditor recently took a trip back in time after receiving an unopened box of Mac ‘n Cheese circa November 10, 1974. After wondering how to share this time capsule given to him by his wife’s grandmother, the adventurous man decided to post pictures online for the whole world to marvel.
And marvel they did, especially after seeing how perfect the food still looked. It looked good enough even to make you wonder, “Should I really be eating this stuff?”

Thank goodness he stopped there. Something tells me food poisoning from 1974 would hurt just a bit more than today’s variety. Besides, isn’t it scary how normal that food still looks?
