I think it’s safe to say that using our talents to help those we love is one of the best things we can do with our time.
During the holidays, people spend more time doing nice things for each other. It’s a great time of year when we can show those around us that we care about them through our actions. After all, there is a reason why people call this the season of giving.
Using his extraordinary skills, one man did something very special for his disabled wife to show how much he cares.
This man’s disabled spouse decided to go back to grad school, so he decided to build her this awesome desk that she can use while in bed.
The desk folds out into a iPad holder, as well as a space for doing any writing she will have to do.
There is a stand between the wooden boards that allows the surface of the desk to be at the proper angle for someone lying down.
The iPad holder also has a magnet-equipped hinge that ensures the desk will not fold up while in use.
Here’s the front view of the angled writing surface. This really is a brilliant and creative design.

One of the best things about the design is that the desk folds up neatly for storage when it isn’t in use.

This is a really awesome desk design, and it’s pretty incredible how well it turned out. But, design aside, this was done by a husband wanting to help his wife accomplish her goals – and that’s what it’s all about.
