Doing nice things for one another is an important part of being in a relationship. Of course, this means different things for different people. Some send flowers or write love notes, others buy jewelry or send their significant other out for a relaxing spa day. Whatever it is, taking time out of your busy schedule to do something special for the one you love is important.
One man decided he was going to do something special for his wife by building something for her. Because their bed was lacking in the decor department, he used his talents to build her a custom headboard.
It all started out as a simple piece of plywood – but pretty soon he would turn it into a beautiful gift for his wife.

Once he had cut the board to the correct dimensions, he started in on the process of stapling the soft foam to the board.

This layer of foam would give it the luxurious look, while also ensuring it was comfy to lean against while reading in bed.

Next he had to drill holes where he would add the buttons that would decorate the upholstered layer of fabric.

Then, it was time to add the fabric and buttons.
