Finding a good gift for a significant other can be a difficult sometimes (or always). It’s a balancing act of sorts. Redditor TheOnlyOne87 recently posted a gift he made for his girlfriend that’s about as close to a perfect gift as you can get.
He decided he was going to make something very special for his girlfriend. It all started with a simple mason jar.

He called it “The 365 Jar.” Inside the jar is a collection of notes (365 to be exact) one for everyday of the year.

The notes are all color-coordinated – yellow for moments and memories, green for quotes and lyrics, and pink for reasons why he loves her.

Naturally, he had to be devoted to the task to make all 365 notes meaningful.

He drew from memories and experiences they had together, meaningful songs and quotes; together they created a giant collection of love notes.

Gifts like this show how much time and effort people put into expressing their love for one another. All the time and energy spent doesn’t matter when you’re doing something for someone you love.
