Reddit user ecost knows this well. Before moving into hospice, her grandmother had one one simple, but incredibly meaningful, request. She wanted to see the ocean one last time.
Her granddaughter and the rest of her family were more than happy to oblige, and brought her to the shore in Laguna Beach, CA, where she dipped her feet in the surf and took in the sunshine. In the photo, you can see the pure joy on her face.
“Something as simple as the ocean still brings her immeasurable joy,” ecost said.
