Sure, you might not be walking in a winter wonderland. For most of us, outside probably seems like more of a winter wasteland right now. However, that doesn’t mean that this cold weather is all for naught. Without the snow and ice, there would be no Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, an annual event in northeast China. The festival is home to the most magnificent frozen sculptures you’ll ever see in your life, and they’re lit up for everyone’s enjoyment. It’s really quite the spectacle.
The Harbin Ice and Snow Festival
This is a real place?
It has COLORS too?
Wow! This is absolutely incredible.
Oh my goodness, it looks even better at night. How is that even possible?
It’s like the most beautiful city of all time. Out of all of the ones that are made of ice, at least.
Breathtaking.
I’m surprised this place isn’t even more packed.
You can go into and even climb the sculptures. Awesome!
Wee!
Absolutely beautiful. Maybe winter isn’t so bad after all.

Okay, maybe winter isn’t so bad after all. It also gives me an excuse to wear those gloves my Aunt Cindy knit for me. No, they don’t cover my whole hand, but it’s the thought that counts, isn’t it?
