Argus the dog is being trained to not climb on furniture or reach onto counters. To help him with training, his owner placed a tater tot on a kitchen table to help control his urges. The owner also left a camera on to film what Argus would do after she left the kitchen.
Being the typical dog that he is, Argus immediately tried to get the tater. Not that I can blame him; it looked delicious.

I can relate with Argus. It’s as if that tater represents my hopes and dreams, always slightly out of reach.
Note: The owner says that the collar is a vibrating training collar and not a shock collar. It feels like having a vibrating phone next to Argus’s neck to get his attention and remind him of the rules, since he’s still young and impulsive.
