Kids love their toys, and kids love their dogs. But toys and dogs often don’t mix well. And it usually isn’t the toy’s fault.
This was the case when one young girl’s doll was chewed up by her dog. I’m sure it wasn’t on purpose – dogs just don’t know any better. Regardless, she definitely wasn’t happy that her doll lost an arm. Luckily, there was a way to fix the problem.
Her father happened to be pretty creative, and once his daughter’s favorite doll had been damaged, he took matters into his own hands.
Sure, the dog chewed up her doll, but how can you stay mad at that face?
The damage was pretty severe – but not irreparable. It would take a little bit of creativity and crafty know-how to get this job done.
Instead of ordering new arm parts to fix the doll, the girl’s father decided to use something a little out-of-the-box – LEGOs.
The new arm would be constructed entirely out of LEGOs and some strong adhesive.
With a full range of motion, the doll’s bionic arm certainly looks different. We’re pretty sure this will be the coolest doll on the block, moving forward.
And the man’s daughter certainly seems happy with her new and improved doll.

Not everyone could pull off creating a bionic doll for their daughter, but this guy was able to with a pretty amazing end result. I personally think it made the doll a whole lot cooler. Her dog definitely won’t be messing with that doll any time soon!
