Ben Pierce is 9 years old and about to go blind. His eyes did not develop properly after being born prematurely. Before he loses his sight, he has some things that he wants to see. Thanks to Alaska Airlines pilot Chris Cice, he was able to see the Northern Lights, which was a must for little Ben.
After reading about Ben’s impending blindness, Cice decided to fly the boy for free up to Fairbanks, Alaska. He would be able to see the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, a beautiful light display like no other only seen in far northern regions. Take a look at how happy Ben was to see the lights and one of his dreams come true!

What’s next for Ben? How about the Eiffel Tower in Paris, or the pyramids in Egypt? Wherever he goes, I hope he can see how happy we all are for him.
