Daniela Edburg is an artist based in Mexico whose grim but humorous work has been featured in art museums all over the world. Her photographs feature a unique blend of black humor and stunning visuals that transcend the bleak subject matter she deals with, which usually revolve around death and destruction and fun stuff like that. It’s all so very cartoon-y…but visceral at the same time.

I’d like to see a movie shot entirely like in this style I think. The interplay between vibrant colors and moroseness is so enticing.
