Alberto Ghizzi Panizza is a talented Italian photographer. He is one of the best macro and landscape photographers around. His work is even featured in magazines and newspapers around the world.
His most striking series explores the close beauty contained in a simple spider web. I never thought it was possible for a spider web to be this beautiful, but I was wrong. Take a look.
Panizza frames the picture so you are peering through dew drops on the spider’s web to something on the other side.
You can’t make out what the backgrounds of these photos are unless you see it through the drops of water.
How the heck did he get so much detail in this photo?
Here you can see the patterns on the body of a wasp spider through the water on its web.
It almost looks like the picture was Photoshopped.
These webs are almost otherworldly up close.
A sunflower through the dew drops. Breathtaking.
This sort of looks like red blood cells.
This is only a little bit creepy.

Spiders are still pretty creepy, but it’s amazing that Panizza made their webs look so beautiful. For more from Panizza, make sure to check out his website and follow him on Facebook. You can also find him on Flickr and 500px.
