Typically, small children and deadly snakes don’t go together, especially giant pythons. However, the Guarinos aren’t your typical family. Jamie Guarino has worked as a snake handler his entire life. As such, he prefers the company of snakes to dogs or cats.
That being said, it’s still pretty shocking to see his 14-month-old daughter, Alyssa, rolling on the floor, playing with a very large Burmese python named Nay-Nay.
This is Jamie Guarino, and he has been working with snakes since he was 16-years-old.
As a snake handler, Jamie prefers snakes to more conventional pets.
Because of that, he has raised his two daughters, Krista and Alyssa, around exotic snakes for their entire lives.
Here you can see a 14-month-old Alyssa playing with the family’s 10-year-old Burmese python, Nay-Nay.
Instead of being something to fear, Jamie believes that snakes can make great, and very affectionate family pets. Eventually he wants to open an exotic reptile zoo with his two daughters.
Check out the full video of baby Alyssa playing with a Nay-Nay in the news report below.

I’m not sure I’d want my kids to be playing with a giant, possibly deadly snake unless I was as well trained as Jamie. For more from Jamie and his family make sure to follow them on Youtube, Twitter, and Instagram.
