The doodles that fill notebooks, calendar and spare bits of paper in an office can be almost anything. The drawings can be sloppy or they can be detailed. Either way, they’re a great representation of a person’s mind.
Usually, when we doodle we’re also daydreaming. Daydreaming can lead to tons of creative thoughts, meaning that these two go together very well. I think part of the magic of drawing doodles is seeing whatever you’ve been daydreaming about depicted on a piece of paper.
I don’t know about you, but I want to have daydreams like the ones these people are having and drawing doodles from.

This one is gorgeous. It really does have a strange feeling to it. I can’t tell if the tree is underwater or the octopus is floating in the air. Whatever the case, it’s beautiful and dreamlike.

I think I remember trying something similar to this back in my doodle days. Mine didn’t turn out nearly as well. It is absolutely mesmerizing.
