Drones are just another part of our society these days. They’re remote controlled flying robots that can accomplish a variety of tasks. People are using them for all sorts of things, both good and hilariously impractical. More often than not, using a drone is generally considered to be a pretty safe activity.
That is unless you’re these two guys, who decided it would be a good idea to fly their drone through the streets of Skid Row in Los Angeles.
Skid Row is a section of Los Angeles with one of the biggest homeless populations in the country. It’s known for being a little rough around the edges, to put it mildly.
Doesn’t look so bad, right?
Now things are starting to look a little sketchier.
Suddenly, the drone rounds a corner and goes in for a crash landing. You can see some young toughs watching the whole thing happen.
When the drone hits the ground, the kids on the corner decide to charge the filmmakers and attempt to steal it. The filmmakers were following their drone in a car.
Luckily, at that same moment, an LAPD patrol car came around the corner. The kids ran off, and the filmmakers were able to scoop up their drone and get out of there.

That’s pretty scary. Surely it’s impossible for everyone to like drones, but that’s a little extreme. Something tells me they won’t be flying their drone around those parts again.
