There’s A Secret Hidden Below NYC’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, And It’s So Odd.

It turns out, you don’t have to travel far to find new and interesting places to explore. Sometimes these places are right under your feet.

Recently, photographer Sam Horine was given access to one of these cool and rarely seen places when he went to an underground train platform below the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. He took some amazing pictures of this secret platform, and they’ll definitely make you want to go out and explore your own town to find something new.

If you stood in front of the Waldorf-Astoria, would you guess there’s a secret train platform underneath?

Down the creepy stairs we go!

Obviously, there are signs that people were recently in this tunnel, but it still has an eerie feel to it.

Imagine being on these tracks all alone, not knowing if it was day or night, and all you hear are the strange echoes sounding through the train tunnel. Creeeepy.

Wha…what’s in there? That is one scary looking train car. I wouldn’t wanna go in there.

This seriously looks like something out of a movie. An unnerving, haunting, scary movie.

(In a creepy ghoulish voice) “Attention passengers, this train is running express…to hell!!”

These are some awesome pictures. I can only imagine how many other unknown, creepy places are below major cities in the U.S.
