The Official Nominees For The Animal Golden Globes 2015 Are…

It’s that time of the year, folks. That’s right, it’s awards season, and while Hollywood is all abuzz with the recently released Golden Globe nominations, the lesser-known Annual Animal Kingdom Golden Globe Awards have also released their nominations for the year.

Hold on to your hats, here are the nominees…

Best Leading Animal Actor in a Drama:

Beneduck Crumberbach

“The Limitation of Stale Bread Game”

Steve Cawrell

“Foxavoider”

Jake Gullenhaal

“Beachcrawler”

Eddie Redmane

“The Theory of Eating Everything”

Man, that Jake Gullenhaal is so dreamy. What a transformation for this role. Eddie Redmane, too (then again, I’ve always had a soft spot for red heads).

Best Leading Actress in a Drama:

Felicity Bones

“The Theory of Eating Everything”

Jennifur Cattiston

“Cake”

Julianne Moooooore

“Still Alice’s Cow”

Rosahound Dog

“Sit, Girl”

Wow, Rosahound Dog was so good in “Sit, Girl.” She deserves this award, in my opinion – or, at least a treat for her killer performance!

Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical:

Bill Mant’ray

“Saint Vincent (and the Grenadines)”

Squaquin Phoenix

“Inherent Fire”

Ralph Felines

“The Grand Budacats Hotel”

Micawl Beakon

“Birdman”

Chrisgoph’ Waltz

“Beady Eyes”

“Birdman” was, paws down, incredible. Those long, continuous scenes were absolutely groundbreaking – really put the movie at the top of the pecking order, at least for me.

Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical:

Hammy Adams

“Beady Eyes”

Helen Mirrkat

“The One-Foot Tall Weasel”

Smellmily Skunk

“Into the Woods”

Julianne Moooooore

“Map to the Stables”

Quenzhané Walrus

“Heavy”

Congrats to Julianne Moooooore for snagging a nom in both the Drama and Comedy categories!

The Animal Globes are also notorious for some bold outfit choices and hairstyles. We thought we’d take a look back at last year’s best and worst dressed; check out these daring choices:

Howl-ia Louis-Dogfurrs

Universalimander After Party, 2014

Leonardo Dicatrio

NBeeC After Party, 2014

Julia Ropurrts

Animal Golden Globes Dingy Carpet Pre-Show, 2014

Don’t forget to tune in to watch the show – Tina Furr and Amy Pupler are hosting the show again, and as we learned last year, they can really kill it together, especially if it’s a small bird or rodent.

Tina Furr and Amy Pupler

Wow, what a truly talented group of animals. I can confidently say that the Hollywoof Furry Press Association really put forth honest nominations this year, to those who truly deserve the acknowledgment. I can’t wait to see who brings home the bacon, I just hope it’s not Hams Zimmhog for “Interstellar” – not that he doesn’t deserve it, it just might be weird.
