A man bearing an uncanny resemblance to Gandalf got quite the surprise one evening. While in his house, the man heard a strange noise coming from his wood burner in his chimney. When he went to investigate, he found a little squirrel stuck in there, unable to get out after falling down the chimney.
Simon and Sean from the Wildlife Aid Foundation arrived to do what they do best. It took the wildlife rescuers a couple of attempts to catch him, since the squirrel was cautious of the net. Let’s just say that he wasn’t keen on being captured, but more than happy to be released.

Yikes! Imagine if the man started a fire without knowing there was a squirrel in there. I’ll be sure to listen for any strange noises the next time I use a fireplace.
