The best gifts often come in the simplest packages. Take the plain white envelope Joe Riquelme gave to his parents for Christmas. Inside the envelope was a handwritten note, which Joe casually hands over to his mother in the video below. The note, accompanied by bank documents, simply read: “Your house is paid off. Merry Christmas – Joe.”

Joe is the founder and Chief Executive of video sharing app Videoshop. After his app started making him quite a bit of money, he decided to make sure his parents never had to worry about money again. This was the best way he could spend his new wealth. His parents must be incredibly proud of him.
