Scooping Frozen Ice Cream Has Never Been This Quick And Easy

You had a bad day, and all you want to do is eat a bit of ice cream. You open the lid of the carton, see the creamy goodness, and thrust your spoon into its sweet surface. But wait! Your spoon is now bent, and your wrist might be sore. It’s hard to get mad about ice cream being frozen, but this is simply too much. Sure, you’ll get to eat your ice cream, but only after waiting for it to melt and soften, which can take minutes. This is an emergency!

Luckily, there is an alternative to waiting, putting the ice cream into a microwave, or setting it on fire. Watch the video below for the best way to scoop super-hard ice cream.

Directions:

-Warm blade of a knife under hot water.

-Make 1 inch deep cuts spaced 1 inch apart across the ice cream.

-Turn the carton 90 degrees and make 1 inch deep cuts spaced 1 inch apart to form a checkerboard pattern.

-Warm an ice cream scooper or spoon under hot water.

-Scoop the ice cream into your bowl.

Awesome! This will have to do until they start selling soft serve syringes to get a quick fix of ice cream.
