Selling anything is a challenge, and when your career and livelihood depend on it, you’d better get good at selling fast. And this Dutch real estate firm is probably in the lead.
The firm, Huizen Promoter, located in Ermelo, set up a sweepstakes where homeowners looking to sell could win advertising for their on-the-market home, namely something that would really catch peoples’ attention. Here’s one of the results:
Yep, that’s a rollercoaster. In a house. The company constructed an entire rollercoaster track through the house, with a car that can seat one. With a gentle push from the front yard, prospective buyers are treated to a tour of the house while a recording explains the house’s amenities. It’s like the “It’s a Small World” ride at Disney World, but instead of celebrating diversity, you’re considering how many bedrooms are a realistic choice.
It was a hit with the viewers, though, who seemed to enjoy their ride, even if they were a little confused. There’s no word on whether, once the house is sold, the new owners will get to keep the coaster.
