Everyone needs a hobby. Aussie eccentric David likes to peruse through bushlands outside of Sydney with a metal detector for leisure. David is always in search of rare coins and buttons. You might see this as an odd way to spend free time, but David’s excavating recently unearthed one of the strangest mysteries to come out of the area in recent years.
David found a brain encased in a glass jar left in the woods. This left Sydney police and citizens to wonder “Where did this come from?”, “Why?”, and more urgently, “Who is this David weirdo, anyway?”
This is the jar David found in the woods about a week ago. “It could have been there for witchcraft!” David cheerfully theorized, despite none of the reporters asking for his conjecture at all.
The jar was found in a woodsy area like this one at around 4:30 pm. David apparently doesn’t seem to have a day job and can afford to spend his afternoons moseying through forests.
It seems David is proud of his little walks through the woods. Though this information was completely unwarranted, David was happy to tell reporters that he finds weird things all the time. For example, he once found the body of a man! Uh…cool story?

David alerted the police to the brain (and hopefully that body he was talking about?). The police have taken it to a local morgue to be tested. Because of the size of the brain, they suspect it to be that of an animal. Either way, we can all be at ease knowing David is patrolling the obscure woods around the north shores of Sydney, finding body parts of people and narrowly not telling anyone about it.
