What do dinosaurs and Halloween have to do with each other? Not much, unless you’re carving an awesome jack-o’-lantern in the shape of a T-Rex. That’s exactly what an educational theme park in New Jersey did, and it was epic.
The artist here is Chris Verra, a renowned pumpkin carver.
His raw materials are pumpkins and squash. Clearly Verra isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty.
Getting a bit of inspiration from the “real thing.”
Verra has to work carefully. There’s no undo button or eraser in this process.
Getting a little help from some visitors.
Putting on the finishing touches.
Those teeth look like they could actually hurt someone.

Wow. I wish I could create such an amazing jack-o’-lantern. The detail on this is amazing. It actually looks better than the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park.
