Stan Beaton lost his beloved wife Ruby in 2003. In December of 2013, Beaton also lost the outgoing voice mail message that Ruby recorded years before her death when Virgin Mobile deleted the message as part of an upgrade. As you can probably imagine, Beaton was left distraught. For years, he avoided changing carriers or doing anything that he thought might result in the recording being lost. After finding out how upset Beaton was, a team of Virgin Mobile engineers set out to retrieve Ruby Beaton’s message.

What an incredible moment. Way to go, engineers! You’ve obviously made this man so happy. It’s nice to know that even a giant company like Virgin Mobile can still have a heart.
