Ice hockey normally conjures images of awful fights, but this adorable video is quite the opposite.
Mike Zegil’s daughter Amara is 4-years-old and the smallest player on the Gore Bay Tyke hockey team. She is quick to tell you that she is #12 and actually plays in games, not just practices.
One day, while playing a league game with her team, 3-year-old Arabella from Manitowaning took a stumble and couldn’t get back up. That’s when Amara showed her good sportsmanship and skated over to lend the little girl on the opposing team a helping hand. The fallen girl also happened to be a #12.

After the game, Amara was awarded her team’s player of the game award because of what happened in the video. It’s safe to say that she totally deserved it!
