A nasty event occurred last year on Wilson Creek in North Carolina. During a trip down the creek, a kayaker toppled over and his head became pinned beneath the surface of his kayak.
The man couldn’t breathe or break free after his head was trapped. However, the man was rescued in the nick of time thanks to the quick thinking of his fellow nearby kayakers. This could have gone so much worse.
