If Today’s Criminal Celebrities Had Been Arrested In The 1920s…

Some celebrities have a hard time staying on the right side of the law. It seems like a new one has their mugshot gracing gossip rags every week.

The harsh, fluorescent-lit photos of crestfallen (or obliviously coy) celebs at their most humble might make for great sales when it comes to those publications, but they definitely lack a certain level of class. Which is exactly why this blogger decided to get a little creative and morph some of today’s criminal celebrities into these time traveling photos.

Created by advertising art director Michael Jason Enriquez, he explains that, in his opinion, mugshots from the 1920s had “an eerie beauty to them” that our current police photographers lack. And after looking at his result, I’d have to say I agree.

They all definitely have a classier style in their 1920s garb. Today’s famous folk will just have to settle for starting their punishment in the photobooth.
