When a t-shirt gets old and ratty, you often can’t think of a good reason to keep it around. A lot of people will simply toss it out into the garbage or donate it (a far more noble cause). Well, I’m here to present an alternative use. Actually, there are five great ways to get more mileage out of your old t-shirts. There are still plenty of uses for your clothing beyond actually wearing the item that you may not have realized until now.

The next time you’re about to throw out an old t-shirt, make an awesome pillow case out of it instead. But if you must rid yourself of your shirt, make sure to donate it to Goodwill. If you can’t find a good use for it, perhaps someone else can.
