Chefs, grade school textbooks, and home economics teachers will all tell you that water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit…but did you know you can actually boil water at room temperature? It seems impossible, but science is capable of some pretty crazy stuff. After boiling water the conventional way, and then putting the water into a vacuum to cool, you can continue boiling the water with a few ice cubes and no heat source.
