The media is constantly buzzing with stories about China’s rise to economic dominance. While it’s hard to argue against that point, everyone seems to forget how terrible and backwards of a country it used to be.
In the span of barely 100 years, China transformed. The country was filled with mostly farmers with little to no infrastructure and then it changed into the world’s newest superpower. Just take a look at these pictures of how things used to be if you don’t believe me.
