Hope For Paws is a non-profit organization doing tremendous work by rescuing dogs and other animals in danger. Over the years, the team grew from its two founders (Audrey and Eldad Hagar) to an impressive group of people willing to dedicate themselves to rescuing animals. The work they do is tremendous, and is not lost on anyone watching their amazing rescue videos.
Recently, the Hope For Paws organization rescued a stray pit bull and the puppies she just gave birth to in a backyard. I had the privilege of seeing a Hope For Paws rescue mission before, but none were as much of a roller coaster ride as this one.
The stray pit bull the team was called to rescue.

If it looks like she just gave birth, that’s because she did.

It took some time for them to wrangle the dog, but she was an absolute sweetheart once they did.

Once the pit bull family was rescued, they were all given flea baths.

But that was only the beginning of the rescue. Shortly after they were brought back to the shelter, it was discovered that the mother dog had a bottle cap in her stomach.
