Remember that time you sat on the TV remote and accidentally turned on the closed captioning for you favorite show? Yeah me too, and it took an hour to figure out how to turn them back off. While they’re annoying to some people closed captioning does serve a purpose for the hard of hearing. Sometimes though…well they can be a little off from the actual dialogue. The result? Hilarity ensues. Here are 38 of the most absurd moments in closed captioned history.
