‘Merica is more than just a Southern thing. It’s a national point of pride, and something we can all rally behind. That’s why we fondly look at those other patriotic Americans who believe in the greatness of our country, just like we do. More importantly, that’s why we look to the sky and hope America’s future is even brighter.
Except this time. What we saw shimmering back brought more confirmation that we’d ever hoped to receive. If this doesn’t give us the hope that we’re looking for, I don’t know what else will.
