Photographers love finding new and unique subjects for their art. Photographer Herlinde Koelbl chose a distinctive (and slightly unsettling) subject for her newest series . It’s called Targets and its published by Prestel Verlag.
In this collection, Koelbl chose to photograph firing ranges in various countries. It brings together the photographic and the violent connotations of the word “shoot” in an artistic way.
…and it’s super creepy.

Check out Herlinde Koelble’s book here. There’s something about shooting eyeless, soulless targets that’s way more disturbing than shooting empty bottles. Maybe that’s just me.
