A 7-Year-Old Artist and Prodigy Will Blow You Away With Her Amazing Creations.

I’m pretty sure my biggest accomplishment at age 7 was getting an A on my weekly spelling test. For this little Australian girl, that wouldn’t even be a blip on her already-impressive radar.

Aelita Andre has been making art since she was just 9 months old. Now her work is showing in exhibits and fetching thousands of dollars from eager buyers hoping to invest in the prodigy.

Recognized as the youngest painter in the world, Aelita had her first solo show at age 2 and sold out a New York opening at age 5.

Her website explains that she is “overwhelmingly interested in color, texture, shape, [and] line as a raw expressive ingredient in the process of creation.”

The free-spirited artist loves adding texture to her acrylic creations, often including toys and knickknacks.

Aelita’s most recent exhibition showcased her process in a performance titled “Soundpaintings/Oracle of Space.”

In a review of her 2011 exhibit, Agora Gallery claimed, “Aelita’s artworks communicate a sense of excitement and allow a unique access into the creative mind of a child.”

Those of us who were unable to make her performance of “Soundpaintings” can catch a glimpse in this video on her YouTube page:

The drawings on my parents’ fridge from childhood seem even more unimpressive now. I can’t wait to see what else this little girl will accomplish. Be sure to check out even more of her incredible creations on her website.
