I always wondered what it was like to walk on the moon. Side stepping the endless craters, throwing a football 1000 yards, and crashing the world’s most expensive RV all sounded like a ton of fun.
Since I knew I couldn’t get up there anytime soon, I wished I could have had one of these. I guess I was born just a little too early.
Japanese scientists created this awesomely accurate LED night light. They used the lunar occurrence (“Supermoon”) on March 19th, 2011 as a model, where the moon appeared 14% bigger and 30% brighter.
You can literally go to bed with the moon.
Created based on data retrieved from the Japanese lunar orbiter spacecraft Kaguya, this incredibly cool light is the must-have present for the space geeks among us.
